 Senior Class Challenge

 

The O.T.H.E.R.R. Fundraiser Senior Class Challenge (O.F.S.C.C.) is a program that is created for Senior High School Classes around the country to sponsor and coordinate a school wide fundraiser at their school to raise money for the things that the senior class determines to be of importance. The school that raises the most funds based on the number of students in the school will win the trophy for the best fundraising school of the year and receive special awards and prizes.

Our goal is to support senior classes to fundraise a minimum of $5,000 to $100,000+ in 60 days in cities across the country. Right now, many schools don’t have enough money for arts programs, sports, school dances, books and teachers—online you can find articles about schools without toilet paper! Many schools have already been closed since the beginning of this school year.  The O.F.S.C.C. can help change this today!!!

Many groups have used car washes, chicken dinners, peanut brittle, or other items people don’t regularly use or consume for fundraising. As an example, a school in Stockton, California is raising $100,000 for their school. The school has 2,100 students, and their goal is to have 1,500 of the students get their families and friends to purchase 5 boxes of coffee to reach their goal of $100K+: The average profit per box sold is $15 x 1,500 students = $22,500; $22,500 x 5 boxes each = $112,500. (And that does not take into account those who sell more than 5 boxes or the businesses who participate and/or make donations.) We suggest that 10% of the money raised go into prizes for the students, for things like lap tops, Ipads and gift cards etc.

 "Adopt-a-School District" Program (For all businesses and corporations)

As an example, the Stockton Unified School District in California is raising $3 million for their schools. We have contacted over 500 school districts, and our goal is to support all of them in raising funds and connecting them with businesses and people that will support our future leaders.

We will be sending articles and press releases about what you are doing to support schools to over 2,100 media outlets including local and national TV, radio and print publications, as well as through social media, email, and call campaigns. These campaigns will show how the public and private sectors are working together, while bringing more positive visibility and support to everyone involved.

The "O.T.H.E.R.R. Chance" Program (Ex-offender micro lending program)

 

We know that one of the top reasons for re-offending is the inability to find a job. The O.T.H.E.R.R. Chance Program provides ex-offenders and others the opportunity to become self-sufficient and immediately productive. 

The O.T.H.E.R.R. Fundraiser approved businesses are those that will not limit the earning potential of the individuals, but pay them in direct correlation to the amount of creativity, professionalism, and effort they put into their business.  We work with the types of businesses that work with ex-offenders who have no specialized training, and may have felony convictions and/or be on probation, etc. The goal is to mentor and support the participants in having the greatest possible business success and to have that success carry over to every area of their lives.

How It Works:

The sponsoring group has a fundraiser to raise the money to start the program. After the initial fundraiser to fund the micro loan program, the program can become self-funding, as explained below.

Micro loans will be up to $1,500 to participate in business models that are approved by The O.T.H.E.R.R. (One, Time, Healthy, Effective, Resource, Redirection) Fundraiser. Our current program is based on the Healthy Coffee Business Model.

The micro loan money will be in a revolving account that works as follows:  

  1. A person applies for your micro loans and joins your program.
  2. An agreement is signed explaining the micro lending program, interest rate, requirements, and the teams.
  3. The micro loan money is disbursed directly to the business that the participant is signing onto.
  4. The loan and interest is paid back by the participant and put back into the revolving account for the process to be repeated to support new participants.

Requirements for receiving a micro loan using the Healthy Coffee Business Model:

  1. A complete understanding of The O.T.H.E.R.R. Fundraiser Business Model.
  2. Meeting with their sponsor/mentor to support them in the entire process.
  3. Before the micro loan is given, the applicant must have people or organizations ready to engage in their business (or orders) that will exceed the amount of the loan they are going to receive plus interest.  The loan is to be repaid within 4 to 6 months of the disbursement of the loan. (10 people or organizations joining their team will usually generate more than enough income to repay the loan plus the interest.)

      (Each group can determine when their loans are to be paid back and at what interest rate. We suggest 5% to 10%.)

HEALTHY COFFEE BUSINESS MODEL PREVIEW

The Healthy Coffee Business Model includes 3 easy approaches for the participants:

1) Contact churches, non-profits and schools etc. anywhere around the country with no-cost, healthy, recession-proof fundraising options to raise a minimum of $5,000 to $100,000+ in 60 days.  The fundraiser is done by having members and supporters of organizations redirect their spending on coffee, tea, or hot chocolate one time to purchase healthy coffee from the business to support their programs. 

2) Contact people who are looking for a source of passive residual income and ask them, “Would you like to generate income every time you or anyone you know drinks a cup of healthy coffee?”  

3) Contact people who drink coffee and ask them if they would like to have a healthier coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
